While this is a clean romance with lighthearted and comedic elements, there are some sensitive and potentially controversial topics explored in this novel including:
- Vague yet recurring mentions of previous verbal and physical abuse of the FMC by her ex-husband. We tried to handle this with care, but you know what you can handle. If this causes you to skip this book, please know that future books in this series will not address such a topic.
- The FMC in this story is pregnant, so there are fairly detailed descriptions of labor, delivery and breastfeeding. This includes a very brief (and clinical) discussion on intercourse with her obstetrician that is intended to be humorous and not explicit.
